- New · Docs: Guide for creators to cook, upload and play their own game package.
- New · Platform: Creators can upload private game packages (cooked maps, models and UI art) to their project. Only players of the project's servers get them, through the launcher.
- New · Docs: Web interfaces can load images and fonts from your game package, so licensed UI art stays in your private package instead of your resources.
- New · Engine: Web interfaces can load images and fonts from your game package (`https://gampeon-pkg-<package>/<path>`), so licensed UI art stays in your private package instead of your resources.
- Fixed · Engine: Clients started with `-RenderOffscreen` no longer show a black web page over the game.
- New · Engine: Your first quest, "Supply Run": search three supply crates, then bring the supplies back to the plaza center. Your objectives show at the top right, and the compass points you back.
- New · Docs: Guide "Bring your own map": load a map from your own content-only plugin on a local test server.
- New · SDK & scripting: Block world zones take an optional floorZ, so a city on your own map keeps its water and low ground visible.
- Fixed · Docs: The block world reference now shows how to place a character on top of a block instead of half inside it.
- Fixed · SDK & scripting: The GetBlockSurfaceZ example now places characters on top of the block instead of half inside it.
- New · Engine: Block worlds for creators: one EnableBlockWorld call in a server script gives your game terrain made of blocks that players dig and build in, with mouse controls and a hotbar.
- New · Engine: Lua functions for block worlds: GetBlock, SetBlock, GetBlockSurfaceZ, SetBlockHotbar and more, plus the events blockBreak, blockPlace, blockChanged and blockHotbarSelect.
- New · Docs: Block worlds for creators: switch on terrain that players dig and build in with one Lua call, and decide in your scripts what they get and may place (preview).
- New · Docs: Guide "Make your game, step by step", covering the whole way from project to players.
- New · SDK & scripting: Block worlds for creators: switch them on with EnableBlockWorld, read and change blocks with GetBlock and SetBlock, and decide in blockBreak and blockPlace what players may dig and build.
- New · SDK & scripting: gampeon-server runs block worlds too, with gp_fakeplayer break, place and slot for tests.
- New · Engine: A compass at the top of the screen shows the cardinal directions and nearby supply crates that still hold loot.
- New · Engine: Supply crates now hold loot. Search a crate with E to put its items into your inventory, and press Tab to see what you carry.
- New · Engine: Hold E to use objects. The sandbox test now has supply crates you can open and close, and everyone nearby sees it.
- Fixed · Engine: Other players no longer appear in the wrong place in the game client.
- Improved · Engine: The test world is easier to read: shadowed sides are no longer black, boxes and walls have colors, and other players have a light body with a red visor that shows where they look.
- New · Platform: Voice channels in communities: join with one click, talk and share your screen or a window with sound (launcher, 16 and older during the test)
- New · Platform: Moderators can mute members in voice and disconnect them, and anyone can report a person in a voice channel to GAMPEON.
- Improved · Engine: Mouse look is calmer by default. The sensitivity can still be changed with `gp.MouseSensitivity` in the console.
- Improved · Docs: The RP Starter docs now say it is MIT licensed.
- Improved · SDK & scripting: The GAMPEON RP Starter is now MIT licensed, so server owners can change it and ship it with their servers.
- New · Engine: In the game, scripts can use `GetEntityForwardVector`, `GetEntityForwardX` and `GetEntityForwardY` on server and client.
- Improved · Docs: The Lua reference documents `GetEntityForwardVector`, `GetEntityForwardX` and `GetEntityForwardY`, and explains that headings match the rotation in the Unreal editor.
- New · SDK & scripting: `GetEntityForwardVector`, `GetEntityForwardX` and `GetEntityForwardY` on server and client. Use them for "in front of the player" math; GAMPEON headings stay measured like the rotation in the Unreal editor (0 faces +x, 90 faces +y).
- Improved · Docs: The porting check docs explain the new list of framework calls that the RP Starter bridges do not cover yet.
- Improved · Docs: The platform status page lists the playable game client as a preview.
- Improved · SDK & scripting: The porting check now lists which framework calls in your resources the RP Starter bridges already cover, and which ones are still missing.
- Fixed · SDK & scripting: The RP Starter HUD no longer repeats the job name when the rank has the same name.
- New · Engine: The game client is now playable: walk with WASD, look around with the mouse and jump with Space.
- New · Engine: Maps without their own lighting get a sun and sky, so the test world is no longer black.
- New · Engine: Players see each other as simple figures until real character models arrive.
- New · Docs: New developer docs page RP Starter: a ready roleplay base with characters, money, jobs and inventory, plus bridges for existing roleplay resources.
- Improved · Docs: The Exports page explains objects with methods, callbacks and waiting inside exports.
- Improved · Docs: The test server page documents `gp_fakeplayer waitclient`, which waits for a test client's scripts instead of a fixed time.
