Manifest

Every resource has a manifest in its root folder, named fxmanifest.lua or resource.lua. It is a Lua file with one directive per line. GAMPEON reads the FiveM format directly, so existing manifests work.

fxmanifest.lua
name 'myshop'
version '1.0.0'
description 'A simple shop'
shared_script 'config.lua'
server_scripts {
'server/*.lua',
}
client_script 'client/main.lua'
files {
'data/items.json',
}
dependency 'bank'
Directive Meaning
shared_script, shared_scripts Run on server and client, before the other scripts of that side.
server_script, server_scripts Run on the server.
client_script, client_scripts Run on every player’s client.
file, files Other files the resource ships, for example data or UI files.
dependency, dependencies Resources that must already run. The resource does not start otherwise.
export, exports Names of client exports, for other resources to read.
server_export, server_exports Names of server exports.
ui_page HTML page shown over the game. See Web interfaces (NUI).

Scripts load in the order of the manifest: shared scripts first, then the scripts of the side.

  • Wildcards: server/*.lua matches all Lua files in server/, **/*.lua matches all Lua files in all folders.
  • Files of other resources: @ox_lib/init.lua loads init.lua from the resource ox_lib.
