Rights statement
Before any version can be uploaded, the creator confirms this statement:
I confirm that I own all rights to the content of this version or am permitted to use it, and that it contains no assets, maps or trademarks from other games. It also contains no assets from marketplaces whose license does not allow redistribution to third parties (for example, content under the Fab Standard License).
The confirmation is stored with the version, together with the exact wording and the time.
Marketplace content is downloaded and used by other creators. If it contains something you are not allowed to share, everyone who uses it is at risk, and so is GAMPEON. The statement makes clear who is responsible: the person who uploads.
Only a human can confirm it
Section titled “Only a human can confirm it”The statement is a legal declaration. An AI assistant can prepare a release, but it cannot confirm the statement for you, and no access token has a permission for it. You confirm it yourself in the portal, after you have checked the content.
The exact text
Section titled “The exact text”The current text is always available at:
GET https://api.gampeon.com/v1/legal/rights-statementThe API only accepts a version if rightsConfirmed is true and rightsStatement is exactly the current text. If the text changes, uploads with the old text are rejected (422 rights_confirmation_required) until the creator has read and confirmed the new one.
